The Cruse Corporation
In 1974 Ron Cruse created the Cruse Corporation, to build single and multi-family residences. The firm later moved into development of land and commercial income properties in Texas, Tennessee and Illinois.

In 1990 the company was invited to consult with Kmart Corporation headquartered in Troy, Michigan on the roll out of their facility enhancement program for their retail stores. The program ran from 1991 to 1994 and during this time the Cruse Corporation successfully completed over 300 store renovations nation wide and received several Letters of Excellence for performance from Kmart Corporation as well as an "Architectural Excellence Award" from the City of Des Plains, IL chamber of commerce for the renovation of the Kmart store in their community.

The association with Kmart Corporation led to an invitation by Chrysler Corporation to provide design and renovation services for their "out dated" automobile dealerships. Over a period of two years, the firm completed the successful renovation of 65 dealerships nationwide.

The Cruse Corporation consulted with the Bindley Corporation in Pulaski, Tennessee in the late 90's turning around several "stalled" commercial construction projects in Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL and Clarksville, TN.

Most recently, the Cruse Corporation oversaw the development of an immense nursery distribution center for Skinner Nurseries whose offices are located in Jacksonville, Florida. Completion of this complex project on time and under budget led to the development of other centers for the company in Lewisville and Houston, Texas.
